June 16, 2025Past European predictions for Ibiza island. Forecasts prepared for 2021-2022 by Astroeras.
Following a similar trend as the rest of Spain, the Balearic government is implementing restrictive measures in certain sectors starting in December. More restrictions will follow by the end of the year, and then a rapid escalation that culminates in the peak of the island’s maximum restriction level this winter on January 28.
The de-escalation leading up to March becomes evident in the second week of February, and from then until the week of March 15-22, the atmosphere seems to show a degree of control over the situation. Everyone on the planet has that unpleasant encounter with April, a month in which events are inevitable and which opens a period of months of confusion, seclusion, and disillusionment.
The first days of June and until the 9th serve to break the inertia and shed some light on the way out of this trend, which will be over by July. Summer, even with restrictions, will remind us in every way of 2020, and from there we’ll wait until mid-autumn, when we’ll once again face restriction measures.
