Understanding Aquarius and its vision from other signs
Pluto entered the sign of Aquarius in January 2024, after a brief passage in 2023, and will remain in this sign until it exits in 2043. Everything that happens in the world of humans during this period will be influenced and conditioned by Aquarius and its vision of how things should be. For this reason, we dive into Aquarius’ vision from the perspective of other signs.
Pluto in Aquarius could not, by itself, have such a significant impact on humanity or the structures of civilization if it weren’t supported by the imminent arrival of the Age of Aquarius, being in the last subera before Aquarius, and because the other two transpersonal planets support it. It therefore has the permission of the Cosmos through the minor trine to transform what it deems necessary in order to implement adjustments where they are needed.
Minor trine formed by 2 sextiles and 1 trine
Neptune and Saturn enter Aries twice, separated by 8-9 months
Civilization shift between May 2025 and February 2026

We are rapidly entering the realms of Aquarius, and only by understanding the Aquarian symbolism will we be able to understand the process we are all going through.
Pisces, Scorpio, and Aquarius – the transpersonal signs
To understand Aquarius, it is essential to know that only Pisces (Neptune), Scorpio (Pluto), and Aquarius (Uranus) truly understand how challenging it is to have a transpersonal planet in their sign. These three signs are the most misunderstood of the twelve because of having this transpersonal planet, carrying the weight of representing the Cosmos from there. In a way, they are compelled to obey the vision of “where one must reach,” guiding the rest of the planets. Of course, each planet offers both its light and its shadow, and each human is responsible for the perspective they choose to adopt. A neutral perspective of the planet would be the most accurate as it would allow for an understanding of the true essence of its archetype.
The planets honor the Cosmos in its immense wisdom as a multifunctional, integrative, living expression. In this cosmobiological conception of the Cosmos as a perfectly harmonized clock, it is understood that each piece has a role. In the chain of command, it is the Platonic year, with its 25,776 years of duration, that first passes the information to the Eras, which change signs every 2,148 years. The Eras transmit the information of their sign change to the transpersonal planets, which are the ones that receive this information firsthand, then passing it on to the remaining seven planets that we use on a daily basis.
The true work of the transpersonal planets, Neptune, Pluto, and Uranus, is to guide the other planets, both the slow and fast ones (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars, Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn), which are responsible for establishing order, rhythms, and rules for the proper functioning of the civilizations that we, human beings, create.
Pisces carries the immaterial vision of creation by having Neptune as its ruling planet. Its domain is the dreamlike, the intangible, and the emotional— the most complex yet the most complete of the four elements. When restricted, the Cosmos has granted it the ability to create confusion as a tool of combat.
Scorpio bears the challenging mission of transforming and bringing death for the rebirth of anything that is obsolete.
In the case of Aquarius, this cross is the mental vision of the unity of all as one, and if this is not the case, to change it. If all the signs were to fight among themselves, only Aquarius would maintain the correct vision that we are all one, and that fighting is understandable as a conflict inherent to the expression of being different.
These two water signs, Pisces and Scorpio, have the most difficult role, and it is not surprising. Only the last element, the most complete, emotional water, is capable of uniting the other three elements: earth, fire, and air. Without emotion, earth would only be dead matter; without emotion, the fire of passions would have completely consumed us; and without emotion, the noble element of rational-communicative, mental processes would only be a computer governing us. The sign of Cancer, the other water sign, has been spared from carrying the burden of a transpersonal planet because it has had to deal with the most difficult planet of all, the Moon. This is absolutely forgiven.
In the levels of complexity of the elements, after the element of emotion comes the element of air, or the realm of the mental-rational-communicative. Aquarius has been tasked with carrying the torch of the correct mental vision of creation, one that knows the unity of all as a whole.
This includes the integration of the Cosmos-planet Earth as well as the integration of Planet Earth-nations, and similarly, the integration of nations-different races.
It is not an easy role for Aquarius, accepted as the one who sees beyond but immensely misunderstood by the other signs for inhabiting the future. Pisces and Scorpio also know the weight of their commitment to the Cosmos, and Cancer, who understands its immense complexity, the lunar made flesh.
Understanding Aquarius and its vision
The natural enemy of Aquarius resides within itself, something that also happens to the other signs, of course, as they must assess how far and with what intensity they exercise their power.
In the case of Aquarius, it could be said that the dilemma is more delicate; it must decide whether or not to make a change, there is no middle ground, it’s either a yes or a no. When one launches a lightning bolt, there is no turning back, the lightning strikes where it is sent and creates change. You cannot put a band-aid on the struck place. To solve this conflict, the universe uses its planets, takes Saturn, the generator of forms, and tasks it with rebuilding the structures that Uranus has struck in case the change has been excessive. This is how cosmic mechanics work, everyone plays their part and works in what they know. If Uranus has struck communication, it is entrusted to Mercury to re-establish it, and so on.
Understanding this sign is understanding that Aquarius does not fight to be different, it already is by having Uranus incorporated within itself. It does not have to make any effort to attract attention; rather, it tries the opposite, to not stand out too much and for the other signs to like and understand it, but they do not. Why? Things cannot be changed as Aquarius desires without proof that it is truly necessary. With its visions, it is not enough; the signs demand to feel (water), touch (earth), and even burn (fire) in the need for change, and only then do they give their approval.
This waiting for approval from the other signs brings a problem and hints at a virtue, and it might remind us of the story of the shepherd with his sheep, warning that the wolf is coming. If the shepherd warns ten times that the wolf is coming but it does not appear, the other shepherds will no longer listen to him and will think he is crazy. On the other hand, if after the first warning the wolf actually arrives and everyone is prepared, the one who warned will be listened to again and exalted.
For example, let’s take the Aquarian vision that a brutal solar flare will occur in May 2025. If Aquarius is listened to, extra alternators are purchased for power plants, the electrical wiring is changed, a global warning system is set up for disconnection, and food and water are stockpiled in available locations. If that solar flare arrives, hundreds of millions of deaths are avoided. If the solar flare does not arrive, then the changes made to prevent it were unnecessarily done, with the consequent effort and suffering. It seems logical to think that it cannot be the Aquarian vision alone that guides us, but rather a synthesis between all. Aquarius once had another planet as its ruler, which, even after the discovery of Uranus, is still considered its second ruler. This is Saturn, the lord of time. The Aquarian game is perfectly represented by these two planets, knowing how to create (Uranus) without neglecting responsibility (Saturn), or finding a balance between creation-visions (Uranus) and time-responsibility (Saturn). Aquarius must know the precise moment in time through the use of scientific logic so that inspiration or vision can come from there. Without this reliance on time, the planet Uranus would not be able to receive approval from the other planets. The phrase “10% inspiration and 90% effort” reminds us of the need for balance between these two planets when it is believed that the artist should be pure inspiration with minimal effort.
We are all weird
Yes, people with the Sun sign in Aquarius are the weird ones, sometimes geniuses, and the other 11 signs know this, but those same 11 signs also know very well that they too are different and have their own phobias and compulsions:
- Aries just wants to blow off steam.
- Taurus just wants activity and harmonious physical pleasure.
- Gemini just wants to understand and flow with the environment.
- Cancer just wants to be left alone and not have to change.
- Leo just wants to be themselves.
- Virgo just wants to find purity. Virgo finds their inner voice in programmed repetition, which brings them closer to purity.
- Libra just wants to integrate harmoniously into society.
- Scorpio just wants to stop transforming.
- Sagittarius just wants to run off on adventures.
- Capricorn wants to build endlessly, either their life or a path.
- Aquarius just wants to stay connected to their vision of the future.
- Pisces just wants to understand themselves emotionally and merge.
Astrological reality teaches us how the signs are tremendously different from one another and how they are also very similar. They hide their shortcomings and show off their virtues because we humans represent them as archetypes. In the astrological game, it’s Aquarius who openly confronts the odd one out, handling it as best he can and clinging to his most precious resource for survival among the other signs: the love he professes for them because “they’re my friends.” Friendship for the sign of Aquarius is like a wrench for a Capricorn, like legs for a Taurus, like emotions for a Pisces. The most terrible fall for an Aquarius is to lose the vision of friendship with their reciprocals due to the wear and tear of time and the constant abuse that others inflict on Aquarius as a faithful friend who can be used and exploited. But Aquarius is a fixed sign; it won’t change its way of thinking easily.
The other 11 signs know how different Aquarius is, but do they also know that they’ll have to adapt to the Aquarian vision for the next 2,148 years, starting now? No, they neither know nor suspect this.

Neptune and Saturn in conjunction in Aries affecting in conjunction, with squares and opposition to other signs on the Aquarian minor triangle
In other sections, I already explained that the top of the minor triangle or comet’s head is the most affected and therefore the one that sows the most changes. From there, we can understand which signs Neptune and Saturn in Aries will affect the most, including Aries itself.
In which parts of our personal lives and in the way we relate as a civilizational group does the Aquarian touch need to be applied?
There are 4 signs that represent both the individual and the collective, and these will bear the brunt of this Aquarian triangle game:
- Neptune and Saturn in Aries will square Capricorn.
- Neptune and Saturn in Aries will square Cancer.
- Neptune and Saturn in Aries will oppose Libra.
- Neptune and Saturn in Aries will conjunct Aries.
Square to Capricorn, the king of pyramid structures
What could bother Aquarius more? In its relentless need for creation and change, the planet Uranus tolerates the least being limited or trapped by walls, and this is where Capricorn and its ruler Saturn are the specialists.
Saturn is the creator of forms, of all kinds of structures that we use to support our daily lives, our existence, and our civilization. The car, the house, a paved road, the office building where we work—these material things are Saturnian creations of concrete forms, the ones we use for daily functioning. But there are also the organizations that oversee the proper functioning of these structures, and these are also formal creations of Saturn.
The governance system with its senates, congresses, and political parties, countries with their rules and physical borders, the media chained to political and economic systems, monarchical systems, monetary markets and their central banks, religions with their temples and churches and representative figures, companies that hire employees—these examples are all Capricornian systems, in which a few are at the top of the pyramid and the rest are subjected to the bottom of the pyramid.
Capricorn is the specialist in creating vertical systems of power, while Aquarius is the horizontal escape artist, the one who brings everyone together, asking for help horizontally. Aquarius is the one who runs from being limited, both for himself and for others, and if cornered, he uses the power that the Cosmos has granted him, called CHANGE.
Capricorn has been ruling freely since we entered the Age of Pisces 2,000 years ago, a water sign that tolerates all other signs easily, being the last and therefore incorporating all other signs within it. In the dreamlike state of Pisces, a world organized around material structures and systems that allow functionality, which Pisces lacks for being immaterial, fits perfectly. Pisces has benefited greatly from its relationship with the formal, material world of Capricorn. After all, Pisces is dreams and ideals, and Capricorn has materialized tools for all of that.
After 2,000 years of planting the world with tangible, concrete forms and after 200 years of mutual support between Jupiter and Saturn through conjunctions in earth signs, Uranus is saying ENOUGH. It has surrounded itself with its team of reforms: Pluto in its sign on one side, the demolition and paralysis team of Saturn and Neptune on the other side. Uranus has warned that for the next 200 years, the Jupiter-Saturn conjunctions will occur in its air element. The Platonic year has called upon it to approve its entry into the Age of Aquarius in no time, and Uranus is ready to strike the first lightning bolt. It smells like a breakdown.
What is coming in the next 19 years is the whirlwind of Uranian changes unleashed against everything that Capricorn has built that no longer makes sense. One cannot build just for the sake of building, as Saturn has been doing all this time. Uranus will take its thunderous strike, gather as many friends as possible, all holding hands in horizontal unity, and begin to destroy wall by wall, structure by structure, all the boxes, cubes, blocks, and other forms that limit its ability to maneuver due to being excessive or useless.
Therefore, one can expect, at the beginning of the Aquarius era that will last until 2115 AD, a roar like never before, a chain-breaking of the systems that are no longer of use to us. Uranus is not gentle when it is angry, and it is angry. The Capricornian systems that will remain standing will be those that serve the population from the sense of “we are all one,” without abuses, in the style of a cosmic Aquarius movie.
Aquarius was in power over 25,000 years ago, and Capricorn has taken advantage of all that time without opposition from Aquarius (change through the demolition of structures) to dominate the planet and its population using civilizations (the greater Capricornian form) that have filled the planet with walls, shapes, and organizations that cared little or nothing for others beyond maintaining control and perpetuating power at the top of the pyramid.
In the coming years, many of these structures that have been useful to us could cease to be and be eliminated or transformed through Aquarian changes that will come with everyone united (Neptune). We will change the vertical structures (Capricorn) to make them truly useful. Uranus is sounding the horn of “gather around me,” and let’s begin tearing down obsolete walls. The American and French revolutions also occurred with Pluto in Aquarius, and their cry was “Liberty, fraternity, and equality,” words full of Aquarian symbolism.
By the time Aquarius defeats its greatest enemy before 2115, we may find ourselves with a new system, something never seen before, where businesses belong to everyone, the systems for electricity, water, and food supplies are shared by all, there will be no elitist party systems but rather a popular senate represented by professions governing, and there will not be a single owner of anything as everything will belong to Gaia, the planet that shelters us, in a system that possibly has no private property or a highly integrative social economy.
It is highly likely that the greatest change will come with the fall of the larger pyramid system, the one that represents the borders that separate us, that label us as different, that prevent us from integrating as one Earthly whole. Uranus, with the help of climate change, another of its specialties for representing all that is in the air above our heads, will attempt to eliminate the invisible but real lines of conflict we have been caught in for thousands of years, the boundaries imposed by Capricorn’s “I am this country and you are from another.” There are no Capricornian borders for Uranus, the ruler of the Cosmos.
Square to the Moon, the inheritance of our ancestors
It is not only Capricorn that is the natural enemy of Aquarius; just as much, if not more, are the anchors and inherited patterns represented by the Moon, which prevent us from moving forward into the future. Uranus is obsessed with these two things: the future and progress.
The Moon is the planet with the most symbolism. It encompasses family, ancestors, home, emotions, the mother, and also relationships between family members, between warring cousins, between siblings of the same race killing each other over different ideologies, such as the examples of Russians and Ukrainians, Jews and Palestinians, and the long list of such conflicts that abound everywhere.
The sign of Cancer, with its ruler the Moon, is by far the sign that finds it hardest to break free from its fixed behavioral patterns, and Aquarius, with its ruler Uranus, is not willing to perpetuate itself for life in rigid and immovable systems.
The Moon is the planet that moves the fastest, completing its cycles more frequently, and the signs of Cancer know this. Such speed allows for only holding on to what is closest at hand and not letting go, because it’s the only security one can afford. This is the reason why Cancer finds it extremely difficult to detach from its established patterns, as it is terrified of letting go with such overwhelming speed.
It is to be expected that in the coming years, Aquarius will put an end to these long-standing family conflicts, as for Aquarius, we are all siblings, and there is no sense in not rowing in the same direction. Aquarius will use its power of change and its best tool, “all together,” to highlight and force those situations that have been stagnated for centuries due to conflict. The popular outcry, so characteristic of Aquarius, serves to point out the problem and put pressure on the matter. If Aquarius cannot resolve the issue, it will find other ways to solve the conflict, either by separating territories or by changing something that makes it possible.
The physical home is the place where one hides, where one believes to be safe. It is the refuge we turn to after the workday, the place where we can unfold our hidden personalities in front of others, the place where no one can touch you. But Aquarius does not like this at all because what it demands is change and reset. No one will escape the changes, not even Cancer signs who take one step forward and two steps backward like the cautious crab they are. Prudence is one of Aquarius’ greatest enemies; what is prudent is to change and transform, not to remain perpetually under the shelter of the roof for millennia.
Maternal and paternal figures and all the ancestral heritage are likewise places of refuge where we can shelter ourselves. These protective spaces do not allow changes in the structures that must be eliminated. If it were up to us, as human beings, we would still be in our mother’s womb and would remain there for all eternity, all imaginable eternities, as a symbol of being in God, within our protector and creator, safe and secure.
Urano will not tolerate this. He knows that unless something is done about the Cancer-house-protection issue, he will not be able to change anything. His mission is to obey the Cosmos and change what blocks transformation. If the Cosmos sends us a brutal solar flare, many solar flares of extremely high intensity until 2049 according to precessional astrology, an entirely Aquarian element that destroys electricity, blocks the use of water and food, we may even have to leave our apartments, out of our burrows to defecate on the street or in the field where excrement is not waste but fertilizer and compost. Only in the human mind is defecation seen as ugly. For the rest of the species and everything else, it is the most important organic regeneration system.
Houses are also a brutal system of usury and speculation created by Capricorn, the generator of material forms, in association with the Moon. And Urano, who has no tolerance for trafficking in things, putting a price on everything, and devaluing the very values he represents, such as friendship, finds this completely unappealing. In his conception of “we are all equal,” while it is good to be different, there is no room for some to win while others lose by decree, for some to enslave others, and for others to end up as slaves. This is one of the most important aspects of what Urano is going to change; he is going to eliminate the game where everything is sold because everything can be bought, including homes and family relationships based on “I bring money into the house and you don’t.” He will strike, as he can, with thunder and lightning, a deep and mortal blow to the Moon-house issue and pull us out of the comfort zone where no change is possible.
Opposition to the sign of Libra
Opposition to the sign of Libra will highlight two aspects:
- One is the agreements made and established in the past, in a world of alliances that never came to light but are still valid. The other is the new alliances that will form due to the polarization brought by Uranus in Gemini over the next 7 years.
- The one involving the worshipers of the classist Venus, societies formed by differentiated classes, such as Venus abusers.
The most violent blow, of course, is aimed at the sign in opposition, as well as the sign where the conjunction occurs, and Libra bears the brunt of the opposition.
The use of the darker aspects of Venus in Libra is a poorly conceived aspect of the planet of beauty and harmony, which not only represents Libra for having Venus as its ruler in its need for social integration but also resides in all signs in some way.
Remember that Uranus is “We are all one with our differences,” which is the antithesis of “I am famous, I’m not like you” and the antithesis of “We sign this agreement without anyone knowing and take advantage.” Pretending and taking advantage deeply frustrate the sign of friendship, which knows that there is nothing worse than not confronting oneself and one’s own fears by hiding behind material things and pointing out differences.
Aquarius is capable of accepting its difference and only views favorably those who, despite everything, speak the truth: “I love money,” “I need power,” and “I don’t want to be like the others.” “If you speak the truth, I already respect you,” says Aquarius. You are half-Aquarian even if you express something horrible; that’s the difference for the water-bearer.
In the coming years, almost certainly, we will see magazines and gossip programs disappear as if by magic, influencers will seem as though they never existed, teaching and boasting about abundance will become something frowned upon, the hoarding of resources and money will lose its meaning, and those in simple, normal professions—those who have never been rewarded—will be elevated. The world turned upside down or the world taking on an Aquarian sense is what lies ahead.
Conjunction in Aries
Of the 4 most affected signs, Aries will bear the brunt when the conjunction occurs because, although no one asks them for anything, no one demands that they act, Aries was created by the universe with the purpose of taking the initiative, leading, and manifesting their active energies when the moment calls for it.
Aries doesn’t need to be told to do something; they do it when they decide, in a burst of energy at the moment, and that’s it. There’s no need to explain to them that the world needs action; they’ve spent their entire lives trying to understand their impulses, their outbursts, and their fiery manifestations. Creation is like that; it decided that a percentage of the human collective should be able to be independent and act on instinct, so it created Aries.
When Aries sees that their brothers (Aquarius) have come together and are manifesting united (Neptune) because they suffer, then Aries will act, and we will know with certainty that Aries exists and that they are guiding us. No one knows better than the active fire sign how important it is to control one’s own energies. They know when those energies are triggered; they are specialists in themselves. It’s believed that the sign is a warrior when, in reality, they are the ones who understand the importance of peace, their true inner quest.
