Through this section, Pluto and Uranus as triggers of “Global Critical Events,” I aim to contribute to the astrological method based on synastries between countries as a predictive method for global critical events such as wars and revolutions.
Synastries are the astrological method of seeing where a person’s planets fall in the natal chart of another person, and in the same way, it is used with countries to interrelate them planetarily. Not only humans have a natal chart as a result of being born at a specific moment, all living beings, including the birth of a country, have a natal chart.
To do this, I use the two classical triggering planets of critical events, Uranus and Pluto, which, in their transits through signs, have been key in civil wars, revolutions, and world wars throughout history.

Natal Chart of countries with Pluto transiting Aquarius activating their planets
Natal Chart placing the planets of countries affected by difficult angles of Pluto transiting Aquarius in World War II and World War III

A simple and clear explanation of why these wars happen astrologically can be obtained with a quick glance at this Natal Chart, in which I place some of the planets of many of the countries involved in the World Wars. I have only placed the planets, ascendants, and Nodes of these countries that are activated as Pluto transits the sign of Aquarius, making them squares, conjunctions, or oppositions. The result is surprising because it reveals a coincidence or a very synchronous pattern, showing how these planets are positioned at equal or very close degrees between them in the 4 quadrants.
This means that when Pluto transits Aquarius, all these planets are activated at once, when they shouldn’t be, as the natal charts of the countries are based on ancient foundations of these countries that occurred centuries ago. The explanation of this synchronicity can be found by using precessional astrology and its suberas applied to the countries. You can find this information in other sections of the website.
Among astrologers, it is known that when Uranus and Pluto transit the first degrees of a sign, specifically Leo, Cancer, and now Aquarius, they trigger, at certain moments in history, critical global events that resulted in civil wars and wars between countries.
It is not enough for the transpersonal planets to change signs to unleash these events, but, as the analysis shows, for events of great magnitude, in addition to this factor, it is necessary for a significant cycle to be activated in the sky at that moment, as has happened in the previous world wars and as it will happen in this 3rd one, with the beginning of the Neptune-Saturn conjunction cycle and the minor trine formed in the sky by Neptune, Pluto, and Uranus, which involves 3 cycles: 2 cycles with sextiles and 1 cycle with a trine. You will find all the information about this minor trine in other sections of the website.
Natal Chart of Germany with transits to 1914, World War I, with Pluto in Cancer

It happened this way in World War I with the joint entry of Saturn and Pluto into the first degrees of Cancer, initiating their 34-year cycle, exactly at the moment when the war began. Pluto, traveling through the sign preceding Cancer, that is, Gemini (Gemini is 2/Polarization in 2), laid the foundation for the division of the world/Europe into 2 distinct groups during Pluto’s long journey through the sign of Gemini for over 20 years. It is always the transit of a slow transpersonal planet entering and passing through Gemini that creates polarization, and it’s possible that this isn’t solely due to Gemini itself, but rather the axis formed by Gemini-Sagittarius.
Signs do not work alone; they function in pairs forming an axis, creating a whole, an archetypal energy, and this Gemini-Sagittarius axis is called the “axis of communication.” It is highly probable that this will happen again, just as it did during World War II when Neptune entered Leo, triggering the war, but this time it will be Neptune entering Aries.
The entry of Uranus into Aquarius occurred 2 years earlier as a prelude to the war, and this is similar to what’s happening now, as Pluto definitively entered Aquarius in January 2024. It will be after 2 years, around 2025/2026, when the war will be triggered. Any change of sign by a transpersonal planet implies changes in the dynamics of the energies that planet is offering. Uranus is the planet of the future, change, and technology, and its entry into Aquarius in 1912, the sign it rules, offered Uranus in its own sign, feeling comfortable and exposing energies of double change and technological revolution, just as it did in World War I.
We can also see how Neptune, the 3rd transpersonal planet missing from the picture, changed signs at the same time, moving from Cancer to Leo, from the emotional Cancerian energy to the fiery, self-assertive energy of Leo.
In just 2 years, all 3 transpersonal planets changed signs, and 2 of them did so exactly at the beginning of the war. This same phenomenon will occur in 2025/2026 with the sign change of these 3 transpersonal planets.
This same path of polarization or the Cold War, with the world split into two groups, is occurring today as Uranus moves through the final degrees of Taurus and approaches Gemini, at which point it will become clear who belongs to one group or another. This will last for the entire 7-year period of Uranus passing through Gemini.
As we have said, Pluto entering a new sign brings general transformations on the planet. We have seen the effect it had when it transited Gemini and its outcome in the form of war when it entered Cancer. In 2025, just as in World War II, Pluto will transit the Leo-Aquarius axis. Let’s take a look at how the last two times Pluto entered Aquarius resulted in global changes with war events.
Examples of Pluto in Aquarius: American Revolution (1778 AD)
Pluto in Aquarius during this period generated the American Revolution between the USA and the colonial powers: France, England, Spain, and the Netherlands. If we look at the general natal chart of Pluto transiting Aquarius, we can see how it created difficult angles to the planets of these countries, except for the USA. A brief explanation of the symbols of the affected planets will give us a clear idea of what happened:
England
Squares
Neptune and Mars
The energies of England (Mars) were affected by difficulty. Mars also represents its war machinery and energy resources, so this confrontation with the USA weakened these two factors. England lost energy resources and its military power. The dreams and ideals of England were also affected (Neptune), including the dreams of being the masters of the world, a GREAT global or Imperial England.
Oppositions
Jupiter and Saturn
Saturn represents the structures of the country, and an opposition causes the strongest reaction, with England losing solid anchors, questioning its rulers, and losing ships, transportation, and economic systems.
Jupiter, which represents expansion and laws, was halted completely, bringing a stop to its expansion and the judgment of those who created the colonial acts and laws that imposed tribute, the main cause of the USA revolt. England redirected its expansionist policy to other parts of the world.
Conjuntion
Venus
Venus, which represents pleasure and material abundance, was obviously affected, leading to less cotton, fewer profits, and fewer resources for the country. A war cuts off the energy of relaxation and pleasure in a nation.
Spain
Squares
The cusp of the 3-9 axis, which governs communication between the country and the outside world, was impoverished.
Spain’s Uranus, representing vanguard and technological advancements, was immediately affected. The progress in ships, resource exploration, and imports of necessary elements to stay at the forefront was abruptly halted.
Oppositions
Saturn, symbolizing the solid foundations of governments, buildings, ships, and transportation, suffered this opposition and became weakened and stalled, putting into question the leadership. Pluto, working by destroying or killing, impacted Spain with its losses in North America, forcing the country to shift its focus to Central and South America and the Indies.
France
Squares
Neptune and Jupiter
France’s dreams and ideals were shattered when Neptune suffered the square. Jupiter’s expansionist ambitions were halted, and the dreams of global dominance fell.
Oppositions
Uranus suffered the opposition, and France’s technological and technical development was brought to a standstill.
Conjunctions
Perhaps the most powerful aspect in astrology was evident when a wound (Chiron) was opened in France at its point of pain. This led to the drastic increase in inflation, which soon triggered the French Revolution.
USA
In the case of the USA, the events generated a release of energies, strengthening its resources at all levels.
Conjunctions
The conjunction of Pluto transiting to its natal Pluto is the strongest aspect in astrology. It served as a rebirth for the USA, a profound transformation with the death and birth of a nation. Since then, the USA has been unstoppable. This aspect is happening again today, so major crises and transformations are expected in this country as long as the conjunction remains within an orb of 10º.
The Moon of the USA underwent this conjunction with Pluto, affecting everything the Moon represents—homes, families, the sense of home, and community were formed. This aspect will also touch the USA’s Moon again around 2039.
Squares
USA does not have planets at these degrees, a true reflection that it did not suffer such difficulties.
Opposition
USA’s Nodes were affected by this Pluto transit, and the country’s people and populism underwent transformation, but positively.
As we can see, the synastries between countries provide the key to the circumstances that will unfold with Pluto transiting Aquarius, showing how some countries benefit and others suffer very negative outcomes.
Pluto at Aquarius of 1531 AD
The last time Pluto transited through Aquarius, all kinds of wars occurred in Europe, but perhaps the most interesting was the religious war, in which England broke with the papal church, giving rise to the Anglican religion and causing a split of many countries from the Catholic Church.

German Birth Chart with transits to 1941

Looking at Germany’s natal chart with transits to 1941, we can once again see how Uranus entering Gemini was the definitive trigger for the entry of Asian countries into the war and the involvement of the USA, dividing the world into two distinct groups. Of course, we must remember that it’s not the planetary transits that trigger wars, but the rulers of the countries. I’ll discuss this further in the section.
In July 1939, Pluto entered the Leo-Aquarius axis, occupying the 0º degree of Leo just one month before the war officially started. Over the next two years, the three transpersonal planets would have changed signs, and a significant cycle in the sky had already been activated, the minor trine formed by Uranus, Pluto, and Neptune, which will be fully present again in 2025/6. To add more triggers that sparked the conflict and gave cohesion to the moment, there was also another powerful cycle in the sky, the Uranus and Saturn cycle, which started its 33-year cycle.
Pluto transiting Cancer and the Leo-Aquarius axis chart as a trigger for the 1st and 2nd World Wars
Pluto as a trigger for the 1st and 2nd World Wars chart

In this chart, we can clearly see how the angles created by Pluto transiting Cancer and Leo, making conjunctions, squares, or oppositions to the planets of the countries involved, was one of the clear triggers for the event. I’ve previously explained that for truly difficult circumstances to arise, an entire network of cycles and aspects needs to be activated because just a few aren’t enough. It’s noticeable how all the planets of the involved countries are in equal or very close degrees, and how the victorious countries had few or no difficult aspects to their planets, while the losing countries experienced very challenging aspects.
The dates when each part of the conflict unfolded perfectly align with the degree at which most of the planets of the involved countries were located.
Pluto in Aquarius as a trigger for the 3rd World War
Germany’s Natal Chart with Transits to 2025

Between 2025 and 2026, we will see the minor trine between Pluto, Neptune, and Uranus very much activated. It is the same minor trine that occurred during World War II, but with the difference that Pluto will enter the opposite sign, Leo and Aquarius, and Neptune will transit Aries instead of Libra. Another powerful cycle will emerge, as happened during the 1st and 2nd World Wars: Neptune in conjunction with Saturn.
I have created Germany’s natal chart for September 24 to observe how the sky looks and how it affects this country as an example. We can see the minor trine at its peak, with the transpersonal planets at 0º and 1º of their signs, with the Sun transiting, opposing Neptune/Saturn, and the Moon and Mars transiting in conjunction making a square to Pluto—an extremely challenging moment.
The 3rd World War has already begun, and it has 3 clear fronts open:
- The relationship between China-Taiwan-USA-North Korea.
- The war in Ukraine.
- The Israeli-Middle East conflict.
These 3 fronts will develop into military conflicts. They can be clearly seen by analyzing the natal charts and the planetary relationships between the countries involved in each of them.
Let’s focus on the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which is the first of the open conflicts.
Chart of Pluto transiting Aquarius making difficult angles to the planets of the involved countries

In this chart, we can see the development of events from their beginning in 2002 until 2028/32, placing the planets affected by Pluto’s transit through Aquarius in the countries involved in the conflict. To keep the chart simple, I’ve selected a few countries, but the reality is that most of the planets of European countries are affected.
It is crystal clear how the planets of the countries that Pluto makes difficult aspects to coincide at equal degrees across the four quadrants. The dates when the conflict develops align with these difficult aspects to the planets. It is simple to interpret the development of the conflict by projecting a few years ahead, following the same dynamic and seeing which planets will be affected next.
Uranus transiting Taurus-Gemini as the trigger for the 2nd and 3rd World Wars
Chart of Uranus transiting Taurus-Gemini as the trigger for the 2nd and 3rd World Wars

This section is dedicated to showing how the transits of Uranus and Pluto affecting planets with difficult aspects are part of the explanation for why armed conflicts between countries, known as world wars, develop and will continue to develop. We have analyzed this through Pluto, and the same exercise can be carried out using Uranus.
As I’ve already mentioned, Uranus is responsible for changes and revolutions, for sudden movements and unexpected turns, such as the polarization of the world into two groups. Both in the 2nd and in this 3rd World War, Uranus will play the same role, the role of exacerbating and radicalizing in the form of a cold war or polarization into two.
The observable result that this chart provides us gives the explanation, the same as with Pluto transiting. The planets affected by the transit of Uranus coincide in the 4 quadrants together or in nearby degrees, being affected by the transit and generating a generalized warlike atmosphere at the same moment.
Chart of the Ukrainian conflict with Uranus transiting Taurus-Gemini.

This chart develops the conflict in a linear way, showing how the other affected planets of countries involved in the other two ongoing conflicts coincide at the same moment in time/degrees.
Planetary cycles and the transits of the transpersonal planets are not the cause of global critical events such as wars and revolutions; it is important to be clear about this. The planets and signs provide the energy for these conflicts, but it is the leaders of the countries who make the decisions, and ultimately they are the true responsible parties for everything.
For the USA, whenever one of these two transpersonal planets transits through Gemini, it inspires a desire to go out into the world and expand. The reason is not found in Gemini itself, which divides into two, but in its opposition to Sagittarius, which symbolizes expansion throughout the world. This has been happening since the time of the American Revolution, so it is undeniable that it is humans who are responsible for uniting and redirecting our way of conceiving politics and elective social systems.
This is precisely what the coming years, when this minor trine and Pluto’s transit through Aquarius are active, are about—continuing the dynamics offered by the transpersonal planets in an attempt to adjust the pyramidal Capricornian structures inherited from the beginning of the Pisces Age and the Industrial Revolution, during which the Jupiter-Saturn conjunctions marked developments on Earth.
All of this will culminate in the coming years in a rapid turn of events, a kind of exponential acceleration loop of circumstances, as precessional astrology shows us, teaching that in 2025/6, we will be at the peak of the last subera of this era.
This section teaches us how the planets of Russia and China align with the same angles and signs as other planets of the USA, and how, when activated by transpersonal transits, they generate conflicts that are often resolved through other countries.
It also shows us how the expansionist desires of the USA, opposing its Sagittarius, occur with other countries such as France, England, or even Russia.
