June 16, 2025Past predictions for the city of Milan. Forecasts prepared for 2021-2022 by Astroeras.
Similar to European countries that began the rise in incidences more gently, Milan is not forced to impose restrictions until December. They begin on the 15th and, uninterruptedly, each week, activities in sectors and on a personal level are restricted, until mid-January, when imposing mild lockdown measures becomes unavoidable.
The trend for Italy is practically identical to that of the surrounding countries: a futile gradual de-escalation in February and an atypical March, the month of the turning point, as what appears to be a drop to levels of coexistence that aren’t even moderate ends up being an unstoppable escalation toward April, the date on which all countries on the planet are forced to implement extreme measures lasting months to control the pandemic.
We’ll have to wait until June to feel that inner feeling that something has changed, and until July to see the end of the tunnel. The coming months will see global readjustments, with restrictions that will remain in place until the shift to autumn, which will once again bring some anxiety about what’s to come.
