June 16, 2025Finland has been experiencing high incidence rates since September, and restrictive measures will inevitably be imposed in the following months until the end of the year, when circumstances become insurmountable and more severe adjustments are necessary.
After Three Kings’ Day and until mid-February, the situation will remain stagnant, with limitations in all sectors and high levels of personal restrictions. This is part of the trend for 2022, which captures the energy of the last two years and updates it to the present, giving us that sense of continuity in time, of “I’ve already experienced this,” so characteristic of this period.
The rest of the year, the inertia is the same as in the rest of the planet: a complicated March transition to the worrying months of the year, April and May, from which we won’t emerge until well into June, and a half-hearted summer, recovering from the blow and reaching collective conclusions on how to face the new challenges that are sure to come.
