June 16, 2025Past European predictions for the city of Berlin (Germany). Forecasts prepared for 2021-2022 by Astroeras.
With the arrival of December, the progressive increase in the levels of restrictions imposed by the government on Berlin becomes evident.
At the beginning of December, the escalation of restrictions begins, culminating in January, with the entry into maximum levels almost reaching lockdown. This is part of the global trend in 2022, in which we have ups and downs in restrictions due to the COVID pandemic throughout the year, first seen in Europe and eventually becoming widespread for everyone.
The dates marked with dots are possible days of some type of measure or restriction and continue until the first week of February, when the trend reverses and a slight de-escalation begins, leading us to March. Many countries manage to reverse the trend and achieve a fairly decent March in terms of restrictions, as is the case in Berlin.
The new trend doesn’t become evident until the last week of March, and once we cross the threshold in early April, the escalation is unstoppable, bringing us to the point where ALL countries are paralyzed for several months.

Easing of Covid restrictions in Berlin
Berlin has two dates that mark the beginning of this de-escalation or unblocking: May 30th and June 9th. Once these dates have passed, the general feeling is one of relief with maximum caution, marking the path toward a summer with levels of restrictions still present, where the feeling of the previous months is still present.
It’s not the end of the road, but the worst of 2022 will be over. We’ll see how, as the months go by and autumn arrives, we will enter into states of restriction again, but we will do so with a different spirit, one of having overcome a great test and with the general feeling of being more united.
